Dear friends, With great pleasure we announce the visit of our dear friend Augusto Osorio. He will be with us this coming Thursday July the 31st at Cervejaria Downtown, 842 College St. W. at Ossington. Door will open at 8 pm and show will begin at 9 pm. Augusto, originally born in Colombia, has played music since he was a kid. He started singing at an early age for family gatherings and went on to tour in Europe with his group Arpegios in his mid twenties. After residing in Toronto for many years he became know for his musical abilities and his ongoing support with many of our community social programs. Now, living in Japan for almost 6 years, he comes to visit us bringing his joyful voice and heart. Everyone is welcome to join Augusto in a Cumbia jam after his performance.

Dear Friends,

This Thursday, July 24, TorontoVivoLatino opens its doors to the Cuban Cultural Youth Exchange Program to help send 10 local, latin, hispanic youth to an arts and culture festival in Cuba this coming winter. A groups of local musicians and DJ’s led by Guillermo Cabrera and Benny Esguerra have come together to help support the cause of these young Latinos and are preparing a great night of live Latin music for you.

Dear Friends, this is to announce a change a schedule for our weekly event. Starting this week Thursday, July 17, our evenings will present a new line up of artist and shows which will be broadcast on a weekly basis on Voces Latinas radio. We will keep you posted. In addition, a Latin Jam will be hosted on the late part of the night every week featuring new talent. This week, Jerry Gitano will join us with his Gipsy rumba. Jerry is a Toronto singer and has worked for years in bands like, Bongo Gipsy, Gitano and Ojos Negros. Now, as Jerry Gitano, he plans to launch his new project. Cheers,
